The Reel Life is an independant, locally-owned fly fishing specialty shop in Santa Fe, New Mexico. We are located in the historic railyard district a short walk from the Plaza and downtown attractions. We are inside Sanbusco Market Center at 500 Montezuma Ave.
As outfitters, we are Orvis-endorsed and carry the best Orvis
has to offer the fly fisher and adventure traveler. We also carry
products from many other quality manufacturers such as: RL Winston,
Ross Reels, Redington Tackle, Galvan Reels, Ex Officio, Filson,
Helly Hansen, and more. Our range of available gear allows us to
match you with equipment to fit your needs and budget. We are also
happy to take special orders for particular non-stock items from
any of our regular suppliers.
Our guide service is able to help beginners learn, or more
experienced fly fishers to enjoy the best public or private locations
available in each of our distinctive seasons. If you are visiting,
schedule in advance and be sure to allow a full day to let our guides

Our travel service
can arrange visits to destinations as exotic as Mongolia or closer-to-home
domestic destinations with phenomenal fishing and accomodations.

The Reel Life also offers classes and lessons. We are delighted
to teach small group classes in fly fishing and fly tying.
We also give private lessons, especially for improving you casting.

available for your use.
