 New
Mexico is our home and we know it well, from small mountain freestone
streams which fish well with dry flies in summer months to larger
waters which are best in fall or spring with heftier patterns.
As an Orvis Endorsed Outfitter, we provide quality guided fly fishing
trips throughout northern New Mexico. Our experienced guides can
help you learn to fly fish, improve your casting or simply show
you the best spots for you during whichever season you are here.
We are happy to work with first-time fly fishers or those
with years of experience. Our guides are able to offer instruction
for every level. Full-day guide trips include instruction as desired, appropriate
fly fishing gear as needed including high-quality fly rods, reels,
breathable waders and boots (or bring your own), a delightful picnic
lunch and lots of personal attention.
 Clients need a valid New Mexico state fishing license (available
at the shop) and some personal gear for their comfort. We recommend
having non-cotton clothing including warm socks for beneath waders,
a rainproof jacket and polarized sunglasses which allow vision through
the water much better than non-polarized glasses. A small daypack
lets visitors carry personal items while leaving hands free to fish.
This is a personalized service, so let us know what will work best
for you: if you have food restrictions, whether you need to be back
early, or what would make your day more fun!
 Private Waters
One of our specialties is arranging for visits to private land.
We have several lease agreements that allow visiting fly fishers
to experience the best in scenery and fishing without the difficulties
which may be presented on public land. This is especially
recommended during weekends or holiday weeks. There is an
additional rod fee (per person) for private properties.
Guide trips are arranged in advance by telephoning the Santa
Fe shop locally 505.995.8114 or toll free 877-733-5543. Please give
us 72 hours minimum advance notice to make your trip special.
Guide rates: Full day guide trip for one: $290. Full day
guide trip for two: $320. Select private land destinations may be
available with additional fees.
